Building on Refugee Week’s 2025 focus on community as a superpower, a project brief has been developed proposing trauma-informed, linguistically-adapted First Aid training for refugees. The brief outlines the need for further research into current access, barriers, and inclusive training models, with the scope of co-producing resources with the potential to promote community integration and save lives. Please get in touch if you would like to be involved in the next stages of this project.
First Aid training represents an accessible tool that can empower individuals and communities to recognise distress, provide immediate support, and connect people with appropriate services when needed.
