Listen on Spotify: Support for the forgotten patients | Life after Cardiac Arrest Podcast
In this podcast, Paul Swindell speaks with Dr Uzma Sajjad from the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre about the RESCQ Project – an app designed to support people who have witnessed an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Currently piloting in Essex, the app offers emotional support, personalised guidance and practical resources, including videos from survivors, family members and mental health professionals. Together, these help to normalise the emotions and questions that can arise after such traumatic events.
