In collaboration with the Communication Workers Union, TIFA has offered support in developing policies to support H&S reps through traumatic incidents including sudden loss, dog attacks and first aid emergencies.


Barbara Frigione has produced a visual story in partnership with TIFA and Cooked Illustrations as part of her Professional Master’s in Communication of Science and Innovation (SciComm) at the University of Trento. Barbara’s work focuses on translating research into something that can be first of all felt, then understood, and acted upon.


With-you’s First Aiders Peer Support Network is a new online community offering connection, shared understanding, and exploration of how peer based & trauma informed approaches can support recovery after a critical incident and form an essential part of responsible First Aid culture.

TIFA have contributed to a DELPHI study in partnership with IMPACT, The Centre for Post-Collision Research on recognising the need for follow-up support for First Aiders and Bystanders in Enhancing Post-Collision Care: Understanding The Role of Bystanders in Reducing Morbidity and Mortality
